Women's Basketball @ R-MC: A History


|
On November 16, 2008, women's basketball coach Carroll LaHaye became the college's all-time winningest basketball coach, with her 432nd career victory (read the press release) over a 26 season career that began as a volunteer assistant coach in 1981. During Coach LaHaye's years at R-MC, she and her teams have amassed an impressive record including making it to the NCAA "Final Four" and National Championship Finalist in 2005.

The First Women's Basketball Team
Although the official women's basketball
program at R-MC was established during the 1976-1977 school year, the first R-MC women's basketball team dates to 1930-1931. Read more about this team!
