Fall 2020: Quick Guide to Library Services

Placing online holds for items in the library's collection is encouraged whenever possible. When you find what you are looking for in the catalog, click the "place a hold button," enter your information then check your email to see when it's ready for pickup (detailed instructions below). The book and DVD shelving areas will be open during regular Library hours. ‚ÄčUsers may retrieve and check out materials on their own. A self-checkout station is located at the circulation desk. Staff will be available at the desk for contact-less assistance.

Returns

There is a 24/7 book drop inside the main entrance of the library for returns. If you have any equipment it must be returned to the Information desk, located to the left as you come in. If you are waiting for an item to be returned, all items are subject to 72 hours of quarantine after dropoff.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

  • All persons in the Library are required to wear a face covering.
  • Social distancing of six feet from each other is expected.
  • Bring bottled water with a reusable straw, water fountains are not available. No eating in the library.
  • Please use hand sanitizer after entering the building or touching shared surfaces. Stations are located throughout the building.
  • Restrooms are single occupancy.
  • Plexiglass has been installed in public service areas. 
  • Self-checkout is available at the Circulation Desk.
  • Makerspace is single occupancy with limited resources available.
