What is X.R.?
X.R. (or eXtended Reality) is an umbrella-term that encompasses Virtual Reality (V.R.), Augmented Reality (A.R.) and Mixed Reality (M.R.).
XR technologies and applications have an extensive use-case, from military simulations to hard-skills training in surgery and storytelling. As V.R. has been proven as an credible tool in pedagogical settings (Hodgson et al. 2019), we strive to to show how X.R. can be used to enhance lectures, class projects and your daily life on and off campus.
We offer a multitude of games, applications and support for X.R. tools, including a computer station capable of running game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, which are commonly used to create XR experiences.
