Commuter Students

Spaces

The library offers a variety of spaces for research, study, reading, hanging out, and just about anything else. Some of the spaces available are:

  • On the first floor there are semi-private study spaces in the Butler Pavilion and just outside the 24/7 Room.
  • The Makerspace, which offers tools to pursue almost any creative project you can imagine, is located on the first floor next to the Information Desk. You can learn more about the Makerspace here.
  • The HAC, which includes tutoring and disability services, is located on the first floor.
  • On the second floor there are several study rooms. They can be reserved here.
  • The 24/7 Room is accessible even when the library is closed.

Computers and Printing

The library has a couple desktop computers in the lobby.

  • You can print from either a library computer or a mobile device. Instructions for printing from your device can be found here.
  • The library has laptops that it checks out to students for three days at a time. These can be found at the Information Desk. 
  • In addition to laptops the library has a variety of technology equipment available including microphones, video cameras, voice recorders, iPads, and more!

Ammenities

The library has several amenities to meet the needs of commuter students such as:

  • lockers
  • microwave
  • mini-fridge
  • phone charging stations
  • quiet study spaces
  • group study spaces
  • various electronic equipment for check out (laptops, ipads, video cameras, headphones, microphones, etc.)
