LinkedIn Learning (LiL) is now available to RMC students, faculty and staff.

Creating a LinkedIn account is free. The free Linkedin.com account does not include LinkedIn Learning (LiL).

LinkedIn Learning (LiL) provides hundreds of courses to help users develop technology, communication, and other in-demand skills. RMC has a site license of LiL; students, faculty and staff can access the professional development materials included in LiL 24/7 over the internet.

Accessing Linkedin Learning:

  • Sign into Gormc.sharepoint.com using your RMC username and password.
  • From the waffle menu on the top left corner, select the icon LinkedIn Learning SSO, and get started.
  • It is recommended you skip connecting with LinkedIn Profile for now.
  • Search for a topic or subject; begin learning.

Connecting Your LinkedIn Account (profile) with LinkedIn Learning (LiL):

The advantage of connecting your LinkedIn account with LiL is that when you are signed into your LinkedIn, you can access LinkedIn Learning from the “Learning” icon on the top right corner.

Here is how to connect the two:

  • Sign into Gormc.sharepoint.com to access LinkedIn Learning.
  • Select “Me” on the top right and choose to connect with your LinkedIn profile. You may need to select “Settings” to see the option for connecting them.

Sharing a LiL Course or Video:

Copy and send the link to your students or team members.

- If the students or team members do not have their LinkedIn profile and LinkedIn Learning connected
  they should

  • Sign into Gormc.sharepoint.com using their RMC email and password.
  • Paste the link they have received in the same browser’s URL.

- If they have connected their LinkedIn profile and LinkedIn Learning, they can simply click the link
and sign in using their LinkedIn profile username and password.
