NVIVO NVivo is a qualitative and mixed-methods data analysis software tool. R-MC only. Available on select library laptops.
PSPP GNU PSPP is a program for statistical analysis of sampled data. It is a free alternative to the proprietary program SPSS. Free
QDA Miner QDA Miner Lite is a free and easy-to-use version the computer assisted qualitative analysis software QDA Minor. It can be used for the analysis of textual data such as interview and news transcripts, open-ended responses, etc. as well as for the analysis of still images. Free. PC computers only. Available on lab computers and library laptops.
SPSS IBM SPSS Statistics is a software package used for interactive, or batched, statistical analysis (quantitative data). R-MC only. Available on lab computers and library laptops.
TAMS TAMS Analyzer is a free qualitative data analysis tool, primarily designed for ethnographic and discourse research. Free. Mac computers only.
