R-MC Resources for Off-Campus Learning

Provides tutorials and support for using R-MC from off-campus. Last updated Spring 2020.

Off-Campus Research

You DO NOT need to pay $40 for articles found through Google Scholar or a general web search.

Library resources are available from off-campus!  As long as you have internet access, you will be able to access most of our electronic resources.  To start, first click Research Guides on the Library homepage.  You can also view a list of our electronic resources on our A-Z list of databases.

Tips

  • The library has access to over 400,000 e-books through EBSCO ebooks as well as other publishers. You can access e-books off-campus, so take advantage of them! For more information, check out the page titled "Books & Book Chapters."

  • Limited internet access?  Most databases allow you to download articles to your computer in PDF format so you can view them later.

  • Use the document delivery (Interlibrary Loan) system for electronic access to articles we own in print or microform format. The library can scan book chapters and other documents and e-mail them to you.

Interlibrary Loan

Off-campus access to Randolph-Macon College's Library's Interlibrary Loan service is available.

We can electronically provide:

  • articles
  • chapters of books

We cannot provide:

  • entire books
  • Special Collection & Archives items, except what can be safely scanned
