Borrowing privileges are extended to Randolph-Macon College (R-MC) students, faculty, and staff. Retired R-MC faculty and staff, R-MC alumni, and Hanover County teachers may apply for a card free of charge.
Any adult resident Virginia may purchase a library card at a cost of $25 for the first year and $10 per year thereafter. A current driver's license or photo ID must be presented at the Information Desk when applying.
Purchase of a library card allows the holder to check out physical materials such as print books and DVDs but does not provide access to library computers or online resources.
A Randolph-Macon College ID or current library card is required for every borrowing transaction.
Loan periods vary depending on both the type of user and the type of material being borrowed, as shown in the following table:

Patrons may place a hold on items via a link in the catalog and they will be notified by email when the item is available.
Materials may be returned to the Library's Information Desk or in the book drop in the Library vestibule. If materials need to be returned via mail, please email the library prior to shipment. The mailing address is:

McGraw-Page Library sends overdue notices via email.
Students: Any item not returned by Spring Commencement is considered lost and a replacement charge will be assessed. Donated items will not be accepted in lieu of the replacement fee, which covers processing as well as item costs.
Under Virginia state law, library patron records (as well as circulation transactions) are protected as confidential information. We will not disclose any information concerning your library registration or borrowing activities to anyone.
